Keith Kravitz was my Public Adjuster for the damages done to my home by Hurricane Irma. My home is in the Lower Florida Keys and took the full brunt of Irma’s force. We caught not only the eye but also a tornado. When I saw the aerial photo of my house while I was still evacuated to South Carolina I contacted Keith immediately to secure his services. Once I returned to my home and saw the actual damage first hand I was very grateful that I had already hired Keith. Keith was very impressive to work with. He made initial contact and viewed the house very quickly. He later brought in a team of professionals who evaluated the extent of the damage with him. Keith was very prompt in getting an assessment to Citizens Insurance Company. Unfortunately, Citizens was very late in getting their adjuster to me, however, Keith was in continual contact with Citizens and kept me apprised of every detail. I think without Keith’s intervention and insistence I would not have seen an adjuster from Citizens for several more months. We lived in a rental house for five months which was due to Keith spotting in my Citizens’ policy that I was covered for rent. I might have found this out on my own but when you are hit with a hurricane your brain is not always functioning at a high-performance level and I was extremely grateful that Keith immediately located this in my policy. It would have been extremely uncomfortable to stay in the house without any a.c. or heat, and would have greatly hindered our efforts to rebuild. Not to mention the mold! When the money from Citizens finally began to come in, Keith personally delivered the checks, arriving much later than normal business hours and facing a long drive home at night. I did not expect this level of service and was very pleasantly surprised by his attention to detail and caring. A natural disaster is a life changing, overwhelming event. Keith’s calm demeanor and extensive knowledge allowed me to sleep better at night knowing that we would be able to rebuild our home and move on with our lives without any lasting damage – financially or emotionally.
